Filey Gin - Our Story
Craft gins are seemingly everywhere across the wide expanses of the county of Yorkshire. Almost every city, town and village seemed to have a distillery; among the winding quiet roads of the Wolds, perched on the breezy cliffs of the Coast, over a drystone wall in the Dales, or in the big bustling cities.
But, until now, not Filey. It was almost a sad absence on the ‘top shelf’. Where was the spirit that would celebrate our own town?
And yet, if any town is suited to a quality gin it is genteel Filey. The unspoilt gem of the Yorkshire coast.
We wanted to create a gin that encapsulates the best of Filey, but with a quality that would stand comparison anywhere in Britain and beyond.
We simply want it to be the best it be can be.
When you open a bottle, we hope you capture something of Filey and the coast, that is our aim.
